The CineRAID
ExpandPRO has the ability to expand the
number of end devices that you can connect
together with existing ExpandPRO enclosure.
Our system supports large configurations of
SAS end devices, including SAS RAID
adapters, SAS and SATA disk drives.
The ExpandPRO is CineRAID’s latest
ultra-high performance, cost-effective,
enterprise-class enclosure. This chassis is
compatible with both SAS and SATA HDD. SAS/SATA
drives connect directly to CineRAID’s unique
horizontal backplane which is then attached
to our SAS RAID controller through an
expander module. The ExpandPRO supports
daisy chain expansion up to 8 enclosures for
a total of 122 HDD! |

Data
Protection
The CineRAID ExpandPRO comes with Areca’s
field proven RAID Technology, offering the
highest level of data protection with
minimal performance decrease. This
keeps your
workflow uninterrupted when it matters the
most. If a drive fails in RAID 5 protected
mode, you can sustain a failed drive without
losing any data while continuing your
operation. In RAID 6, it can sustain up to
2 concurrent drive failures without losing
your important data. |

Industrial & Modular Design |
Each enclosure is designed with
durability and functionality in mind
incorporated with a high cooling air
flow system. Utilizing
CineRAID's unique horizontal backplane, it allows for maximum airflow
through the enclosure to cool down
those data important HDD.
Compared to other enclosures, our
backplane has a clear advantage
allowing over 50% more airflow!
Cool air is drawn
from the front of the unit through
the hard drives dissipating the heat
through the rear. Being a
modular design, all ExpandPRO
enclosures have interchangeable
parts. This allows high use items,
such as the fan, to be quickly and
easily replaced with little to no down
time. |

We utilize quiet, reliable,
ball bearing fans which are designed
specially for venting unnecessary
heat away from the hard drives and
through the rear of the enclosure.
Two industrial grade fans pull air
though the chassis for maximum
cooling while maintaining minimal
noise. |

The rear of our enclosure features a 650W 2+1 hot swap redundant power
supply. This configuration
will support up to 2 failed power
supplies for maximum protection of
your important data. The rear
also has a large venting area to
exhaust heat being pulled through
the HDD. The terminal is an in
band management for CLI (Command
Line Interface). The CLI is
useful in environments where a
graphical user interface is not
available |
